The Price of Patience
Description
A Snowy Egret pauses in the still waters of Prime Hook National Wildlife Refuge in Delaware, perfectly reflected beneath it. The soft blue surroundings and minimalist composition create a peaceful portrait of the bird in its natural habitat. Capturing this moment required a little patience—and enduring plenty of mosquitoes.
